1 Year Old - Clinical Exam

One-Year Old - Clinical Exam

  • Review medical history with parent

  • Knee-to-knee exam with the parent for young patients

  • Check for decay and dietary staining

  • Look for irregularities on the tongue and soft tissue

  • Enamel defects such as decalcifications, discolorations, and hypoplasia

  • Make sure the child has all the appropriate teeth for their age

  • X-rays will be taken on a needed basis, depending on their age and clinical findings during the exam
